Illumination at the Morton Arboretum and Lightscape at Chicagoīotanic Garden are filling spots for impressive outdoor experiences among their trees. The Joffrey Ballet just put Nutcracker tickets on sale and Goodman Theatre already has been selling tickets to its annual “A Christmas Carol.” It’s not too early to think of joyous holiday theater productions and beautiful sounds and colors along interesting outdoor pathways. Joffrey Ballet’s The Nutcracker returns but will be at its new home at the Lyric Opera House.
